Garbage Service (Household Waste) 
On June 6th, 2023 the Town Council approved an increase for the solid waste collection fee for all residential properties within the town limits. Effective July, 1st 2023, a $12.05 fee will appear on your monthly water and sewer bill from the City of Salisbury.

Garbage Service is provided by GFL Environmental Inc. to residents within the town limits of China Grove. Garbage is collected once a week using the provided 96-gallon waste rollout container. Service areas are separated by Main Street as "East" and "West" sides. The west side of town is serviced on Wednesdays and East side of town serviced on Thursdays. 

Waste rollout containers must be rolled to the curb the evening before collection. All garbage must be inside of the container and the lid must be closed. If you have extra trash you will need to purchase a second rollout container, no trash will be collected outside the designated container. The container must not be restricted by cars, debris or other obstructions to ensure your rollout container is serviced. Town Ordinance states containers must be removed from the curb by the end of service day.
