Services

The Town of China Grove currently subcontracts Waste Management as our provider of waste removal. Household garbage is picked up every week by using the provided roll out cart from WM. The west side of Main Street is collected on Tuesdays and the east side on Wednesdays. Carts must be pushed to the curb prior to pickup and removed that same evening.

For removal of other bulky items or excess garbage (excluding household garbage), please call Town Hall at (704) 857-2466 to schedule a pick up.

The Town of China Grove serves the public with Water and Sewer utility services, Garbage Removal and Miscellaneous pickup, Leaf Collection and other pickup and removal services. If a service is needed or if you have any questions,please call Town Hall at (704) 857-2466.

Garbage Removal Service
The Town of China Grove is still in the process of the repaving project for the streets that are maintained by the Town. Please review the 2005 Revised Street Priority Listing for a list of streets that are being paved. Each street within the Town is rated on a scale depending on the need of resurfacing. The paving in done on an annual basis beginning with the streets listed as "Very Poor." This project will take several years to complete.
