Council meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building at 205 Swink Street in downtown China Grove.

It is an honor and privilage to serve the citizens of China Grove. I have been given the great opportunity to work with old friends and develop friendships in our community.
As Mayor, I want to invite all of our citizens to become informed about our Town government and Town activities. The first step is to begin attending Town Board Meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at Town Hall. Secondly, let me know if you are interested in volunteering your time and talents to any of our volunteer groups. We all want and expect so much from our Town, but what are you willing to give in return?
As we approach spring, please review our curbside pick-up policy for designated items. Call Town Hall at (704) 857-2466 to request pick-up service. It has been my experience that pick-up is usually within two days of making the request.
I am aware of the differences of opinion on various issues over the past several years. I challenge each of you to remember our past, but don't become trapped by the past. To continue to be a viable community that is a desirable place to work and live, we need to be pro-active and focus on today, tomorrow and the next century. This is not a new saying, but I feel appropriate, "Let us work together today for a better tomorrow."
