Town of China Grove

Administration Department
The Town of China Grove has operated under the Council Manager form of government since 1889. Recently, the Town incorporated a new position, Town Manager. Under the Council Manager form of government, the Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council, and is responsible for the day to day administration of Town government.

The Town’s Department Heads report directly to the Town Manager, who is also responsible for development and administration of the Town’s annual budget. The Town Manager is assisted in his duties by the Town Clerk, two office assistants. and a Finance Director.

The office of the Town Manager is located at the Town Hall at 205 Swink Street.

Hours of Operation 8-5 pm, Payments will be taken from 8:15-4:45.
