China Grove Fire Department is located in China Grove North Carolina. Located approximately one hour north of Charlotte in Rowan County. Close in proximity to Salisbury, Kannapolis, and Mooresville areas.

China Grove Fire Department has 18 members on roster with 6 officers. We have a full time fire chief with 7 part time engineers. China Grove Fire Department offers many opportunities for volunteers.

China Grove Fire Department also offers full Rescue Services. We train excessively in all aspects of Rescue such as repelling, extrication, lifts and carry, and many other areas of rescue. We strive to be prepared for any situation that may arise.

Call load for the China Grove has steadily increased through the years. In 2004 China Grove ran 680 calls. Responding to an average of 1.9 calls per day and as many as 13 per day.

The China Grove Fire Department Explorers are open to anyone age 14 through 21. We meet 2 times a month, and frequently take camping trips and trips to learn more about the fire,rescue,and medical service.

China Grove Fire Department meets for training every Tuesday night at 7:00pm. We offer Firefighter 1 & 11 classes along with Medical Responder classes.
